For me, many of my days are broken into two categories: Green light days and Red light days. The Green light days are the ones where everything is smooth , flowing together nicely with no disparate or disruptive elements involved. It’s like driving on the road and every light is green; all doors and gates wide open. You can imagine what Red light days are like. No flow and constant disruptions to my plans and movements. Imagine driving down the road, in a hurry to arrive and at every crossing being met with a red light..stop stop stop!
What I’ve learned from these different days are how to deal with the YELLOW lights! The lessons are clear. On a Green light day, if you are approaching a Yellow light you must always proceed with caution, but you should proceed…going forward, moving ahead, making progress! On a Red light day, you should not proceed and consider the Yellow light to be as Red as Red can be. The Red light day is not about moving aggressively forward, rather it is a day to be respected.
